The story of Mezcal Agua Santa

Our founder Carmen Marron has a great love for the beautiful culture of Oaxaca, Mexico, and wants to share it with the world. One of the best Oaxacan treasures that the world should know about is her favourite indulgence, Mezcal.

The name was developed during one of her many trips to Oaxaca in search of the best Mezcal. One day, while driving, Carmen got lost in the back country. She travelled through the beautiful landscape, and then came across a lovely river, set in a breaktakingly beautiful terrior. She decided to name her mezcal after the river, which was called "Agua Santa".
